Case Study Roundtables

The monthly case study roundtables highlight sustainable projects from leading A/E firms. We will really dig into to the nitty gritty -- from performance measurement to construction challenges, emerging products to the integrated design process, and more. Attendees have the opportunity to network and tour NEXUS Green Building Resource Center following the event.

Register for the next session on September 15. See the 2010 roundtable calendar.

LEED & Green Project Management

This full-day course is designed for individuals who want to become experts in LEED© and green building implementation and understand how their expertise best integrates into the process to achieve real value for their projects. At the end of this course, participants will be able to identify and approach their role on LEED© projects in a clear and strategic manner, credit-by-credit and phase-to phase.

Specifically, participants will be able to:

  • Set goals for, manage, and implement your LEED© and green building projects from start to finish.
  • Integrate the planning, design, construction, and operations phases in order to achieve a comprehension of the green building process.
  • Prioritize and achieve your sustainability goals using readily available tools and resources.
  • Understand the overarching sustainability principles related to sites, energy, water, products, indoor environmental quality, construction practices, and operations and maintenance.

Project Management tools and exercise will help participants understand and implement the course material. Provides 8 AIA and GBCI LEED-Specific CE for BD+C, ID+C and O+M.
