Thank you to the many design firms, product manufacturers, community partners, and individuals who have helped to make NEXUS a success since we opened our doors to the public in 2007!
 
Ways that you can support NEXUS
 
Your support allows us to…
  • Transform and expand the marketplace for green products and services
  • Design and build educational exhibits to teach visitors about green products and strategies
  • Offer field trips to urban high school students through our DIG (Design It Green) Program
  • Answer hundreds of green building questions from the public each year through our Help Desk
  • Offer monthly introductory Lunch and LEED sessions
  • Offer quarterly Residential Second Saturday events for homeowners, renters, and residential design professionals
  • Share important news, green building industry updates and event announcements through our monthly newsletter

Donate Materials for Our Exhibits
Does your company manufacture or distribute green products? Gain exposure and contribute materials to our high end green office space and our exhibits! Services
Does your company offer a special service that could help NEXUS mainstream green building? Do you want to gain exposure for your company at Boston’s only one-stop full-immersion green building resource center?  We sometimes need help with:
  • Construction (upgrades to our space or work on upcoming exhibits such as Building Envelope, LEED, and Clean Energy)
  • Graphic Design
  • Printing
  • Lighting
  • Website

Supplies Wish list:
Do you have supplies that your company or organization no longer needs?
Here are some of the things we need in our space and for upcoming special projects:
  • Standing cash donation box with slot – like they have in museums
  • Large Signage/Banners for our exhibits
  • Printing for our new brochure
  • Large bulletin board
  • Installation of a new track door and threshold next to our Kitchen Exhibit
  • No-VOC paint for our model green home office, a fresh-looking live/work space
  • Chairs and a small table for our resource library
  • Lamp for our resource library (shade must be compatible with CFL bulbs)
  • Removable mounting tabs (Velcro preferred) for hanging signs
  • 3-6 children’s sized chairs and table for Kid Zone in library
  • Digital camera
  • Tripod
  • Camcorder
  • Video editing software
  • Conference phone with additional microphones
  • Flyer or promotional material display stands
  • TV
  • DVD player
 
We always accept the following items for donation:
  • Pens, post-it notes, and most office supplies (promotional supplies are fine)
  • Three-ring Binders
  • Scissors
  • Dry erase markers
  • Art supplies (for use with visiting school groups) – markers, crayons, colored pencils
  • Recent green building books and publications (last 10 years) for our resource library
  • Folders
 
If you have something to donate, please e-mail a description or photo of the item to info@greenroundtable.org. We can only accept items that are in new or like-new condition. Please specify in your e-mail if you are able to bring the items to NEXUS. In most cases we are not able to pick up supplies for donation.
