Sustainable Master Planning
GRT engages complex systems and helps integrate sustainable design strategies into comprehensive, long-term planning efforts through:
- Mapping and establishing baseline understanding of systems

- Developing a plan for implementing sustainable strategies
- Establishing design and operations guidelines for future development
Institutional Policy & Standards Development
GRT works with institutions to create and implement comprehensive sustainability initiatives within an institution, engaging both the technical aspects as well as the internal strategies. GRT helps to identify green building and sustainability standards through:
- Baseline assessment of current sustainability strategies
- Developing RFP and RFQ guidelines, including required experience recommendations for consultants, to meet project-specific goals Reviewing capital construction and operations practices to align newly established practice within campus practice
- Establishing design standards as they relate to energy, water, and resource conservation
Design Charrettes
GRT facilitates design charrettes and visioning sessions that play a critical role in aligning all interested parties in order to:
- Build consensus and cooperation among stakeholders

Boot Camp for Organizations and Institutions
Boot Camp combines internal strategic planning and business strategies with comprehensive technical capacity. It helps owners and developers strategically assess their portfolio and determine what internal support and changes need to occur to achieve their green objectives. The goal of this program is to build internal capacity to launch and administer green initiatives independently.
