GRT coached the project team in energy, indoor environmental quality and material selection strategies for this shell 10 story office building core and renovation and new parking
The original design consisted of a new parking garage and renovation to only the interiors of the office building. This project is pursuing LEED certification.
Adobe Overlook Center, Waltham, MA
Creation of healthy and energy-efficient building to attract top talent and keep operating costs down has proven to be good business for Adobe; Adobe holds the title for the greatest number of Platinum Projects for any one company. With the 80,000 s.f. LEED 2.0 Gold Core-Shell nearly completed, the Adobe team is aiming for LEED 2009 Platinum Certification for the Commercial Interiors fit-out of the building.
Fidelity Investments-Washington, DC LEED CI Gold Certification
GRT provided consulting services to inform the design and construction decisions for this commercial tenant fit out. Located in Washington, DC the project included the complete renovation of one floor for Fidelity’s new office space. Project highlights included high levels of daylighting, construction materials with high levels of recycled and regional content, and salvaged and recycled furniture.
Fortune 100 Insurance Company- Western MA
GRT is working with members of the company staff by providing technical assistance in pursuit of LEED-Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance certification for their 1.4 million square foot campus in, MA. This campus hosts over 4,000 employees and includes office space, computer server rooms, a cafeteria, basic convenience services, parking and open space. The project is currently pursuing LEED Silver certification.
International Fund for Animal Welfare- Yarmouthport, MA, LEED NC Gold Certification
GRT provided Sustainable Process Facilitation & LEED Services for this new 25,000 s.f. facility. The project received LEED-NC Gold certification. Strategy Highlights: Remediation of a contaminated site, Zero Storm Water discharge, water reduction of over 40%, minimized site disturbance and maximized open space.
Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard, Joint Forces Headquarters, Hanscom Air Force Base
This new 117,000 s.f. housing and training facility, is pursuing LEED Gold Certification. Building on a previously developed site, capturing and infiltrating all stormwater on-site, maximizing envelope performance, and installing multiple air-handlers to account for variations in occupancy have helped this project to achieve its sustainability goals.
One Financial- Boston MA
In early 2008, One Financial Center committed to the US Green Building Council’s LEED Existing Buildings Operation & Maintenance Certification (EBOM).OFC is one of the city’s largest and most recognizable office towers. One Financial Center (OFC), is a 1.5 million s.f. - 46 story office building in Boston’s Financial District, located at the southern end of the newly created Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway. As part of the LEED-EBOM certification, OFC also earned the prestigious ENERGY STAR from the US EPA. The ENERGYSTAR program assesses buildings awards the ENERGY STAR to those whose energy performance is in the top 25th percentile. OFC exceeded this standard with an overall energy and carbon savings of 36%.
Two International - New Market Building-Portsmouth, NH
GRT provided support to Two International in designing and constructing their office space in accordance with the LEED-Core Shell requirements. The Two International project is a three floor office building with tuck-under parking. New Market is the primary tenant of the office building, occupying 51,565 SF out of 80,264 SF.
