Roundtable: Transparency & Trends in Green Building Products

"The green building movement is poised for its own wave of radical transparency. In the age of radical transparency, buyers will be able to look beyond labels, certifications, green marketing and greenwash. They will be able to find information about product ingredients, manufacturing facilities, and corporate citizenship, and align this information with their own values and priorities before making a choice." - Bill Walsh, Healthy Building Network

In 2009, NEXUS surveyed its 16,000 subscribers, and the majority of respondents stated that "access to unbiased product information" was the predominant need for designers to successfully implement green building.

On March 4th, NEXUS will host a roundtable on transparency and trends in green building products. Join industry leaders Bill Walsh from the Healthy Building Network's Pharos Project, and Barbra Batshalom of the NEXUS Green Product Association, and leading product manufacturers and designer professionals to discuss this dilemma and what transparency, tools, and partnerships will address this immense challenge.
