The LEED Green Associate Exam Prep course makes you eligible to take and enables you to pass the LEED Green Associate exam from experienced Green Building Consultants. This training is offered every other month in three, 3-hour sessions (9 hrs total) or one-day formats.

The course provides an overview of the LEED Program, USGBC and GBCI and on various cost assessment tools to evaluate sustainable strategies.

The course outlines tested topic areas including: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, and Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality. A special focus is on the Energy & Atmosphere category, providing attendees with a basic understanding of climate assessment, building massing and orientation, and optimization of the building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and renewable systems. The session also includes a look at the construction and operations phases of a LEED project and a review with practice questions.

Breakfast and lunch is provided. Participants will receive a workbook with presentations, sample questions, additional resources and a FREE Show pass to the Northeast Building & Facilities Show onsite. A break will be provided from 12-3pm for lunch and for walking the Show floor.

Completion of this class meets the GBCI application requirements to take the LEED Green Associate exam. 8.0 AIA/CES Sustainable Design LU are offered for attending this training. All participants receive a certificate of completion that they can use to fulfill continuing education (CE) requirements of other professional certifications and to apply for the LEED Green Associate exam.
