The USGBC Massachusetts Chapter (formerly the USGBC Massachusetts Membership Forum) works to enable individuals to participate in and support local USGBC activities across Massachusetts.
The Chapter's individual membership helps support the organization's growth and activity across the entire state of Massachusetts. As the local voice of the USGBC, being a member entitles you to participate in committees as well as serve in a leadership role at the Chapter level. The membership revenues will enable the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter to continue and expand community-based programming such as (workshops, curriculum development, and outreach) and to maintain proactive advocacy for green-building policies at the city and state level.
The Chapter has developed a package of member benefits including discounts to programs and professional publications. Additional member benefits are being explored. You are also encouraged to participate in a Chapter committee, where you can actively support green-building activities while meeting new friends and potential colleagues.

Membership Process
To get started with membership, download and complete the Member Application Form. Identify what level you're interested in joining at and send the form with your dues payment to the Chapter.
All members joining in 2010 will be known as Founding Members as long as there are consecutive years of giving at any level starting in 2010.
Now, get ready to share in the benefits of advancing green building ideas, policies, and practices!
Please note that companies/organizations join USGBC at the National level and individuals join locally through the Chapter.
As a member of the MA Chapter you can take advantage of the local member benefits offered, however, your membership does not apply to USGBC national discounts. If however, you are an employee of a USGBC national member company, you do qualify for USGBC discounts on LEED exam and test prep materials, USGBC sponsored workshops, Greenbuild registration, etc.

- High-Performing Member - $1,000
- Partnering Member - $500
- Greening Member - $250
- Sustaining Member - $125
- Chapter Member - $65
- Chapter Member employed by a USGBC national member company - $45
- Retiree Member - $25
- Emerging Green Builders (EGB)/students/recent grads (<5 years) - $25
- Youth membership (<19) - Free
